On Dec. 7, Officers from the California Dept. of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center hosted a Shop-With-a-Cop holiday event in Galt. Staff spread holiday joy to children within the Galt Joint Union School Districts experiencing hardships.
This year, 28 children were partnered with CDCR Academy Staff Sergeants and Cadets, which surpassed their goal of shopping for 20 children.
