Ky Harmon graduated from Venice High School, where he played on the basketball team. He plans to start college in the fall. He’s the son of Kenyatta Harmon, Public Works/StreetsLA.
Hanna M. Burton graduated from Cypress College, and plans to continue her education in the fall at Cal State Long Beach. She’s related to Anna Burton, Retired, Harbor.
Cameron Spencer graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, and plans to work in the film industry and, he hopes, a Godzilla movie. He’s the child of Karrie and Nataka Spencer, LADWP.
Yejade Hardin graduated from Arizona State University and plans to work in IT in the near future. She’s an employee of Public Works/Sanitation.
Talia Guzman graduated from Cal State Northridge, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She volunteers as a victim advocate and is pursuing a career in sexual assault advocacy. She’s the daughter of Jay Guzman, LADWP.
Levar Arnold graduated from Bellflower High School. He has a full track scholarship to UCLA and plans to study political science in the fall. “I’m so proud of you, son. Love, Mom.” Levar is the son of Mona Rigsby, Public Works/StreetsLA.
Rikki Gallegos graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor’s degree in environmental design. She plans to work this summer for the Harbor Dept. in Operations and Logistics before pursuing a Master’s degree. She’s the child of Raymond Gallegos, Firefighter/Paramedic, LAFD.
Samantha Valle graduated from Jurupa Valley High School and plans to attend Cal Poly Pomona in the fall, pursuing a degree in animal science. She aspires to become a livestock veterinarian. Samantha is an Eagle Scout with Troop 2017G, and maintained a 4.1 GPA through high school. “Your mom and brothers are extremely proud of you!
