How to Claim:

Fill out the form below to customize your plaque. Choose to have it presented to you in person at your retirement celebration, or mailed directly to your home.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A plaque recipient must be a member of the Employees Club of California in good standing with at least five years of consecutive Club Membership.

  • A plaque recipient must be a Club Member retiring from Los Angeles City, LADWP or California State employment within the next three months or is already Retired.

  • A plaque recipient agrees to have their picture taken for publication in Alive! and online (including social media).

  • It is at the Club’s discretion whether or not to award a Club Retirement Plaque.

  • Club Retirement Plaques feature the highest-quality construction. Therefore, please plan on at least six weeks after approval for your plaque to be ready for distribution or shipping.


Receiving Your Plaque:

  • In person: We hold ceremonies a couple of times a quarter. The whole point is to make sure you leave feeling recognized. Not processed. Recognized. Your family, friends, and former colleagues are all welcome.

  • By mail: We’ll ship your plaque directly to you. In some cases, we can arrange a personal presentation at your retirement party. That takes lead time, so reach out early.

  • We’ll come to you: In limited situations the Club might be able to present your Club Retirement Plaque in person at a City-managed or private retirement party. This must be arranged in advance. Contact the Club Employee Recognition Team for more information.


Cost:

  • Receiving the Club Retirement Plaque is free of charge to you, with the Club’s deepest gratitude for your career of dedicated service.


Please allow at least six to 8 weeks after approval for your plaque to be ready for distribution or shipping.
