Introducing a new Club benefit: Service Recognition Pins. Complimentary for eligible Members.

Every day you’ve shown up to serve your community. You make a difference.

Whether you’re assisting residents, keeping our neighborhoods safe, maintaining essential services, supporting students, caring for our parks, or working behind the scenes, your dedication has helped strengthen the communities we call home.

Day after day and year after year, those moments of service add up to a career dedicated to helping others. Those years deserve to be recognized. That is what Pins of Purpose is all about—recognizing the heart behind the work.

Many of you have been waiting years for this kind of recognition. We’re proud to introduce Pins of Purpose to fulfill this need to celebrate eligible active and Retired Members. While the pin itself is small, the gratitude behind it is immeasurable.

Here’s What Qualifies You

We want recognizing your service to be simple, so there’s no guessing. Qualifying is simple: You’ll need to be an Employees Club Member in good standing, with at least five consecutive years of membership, and you’ll need to have reached one of the public service milestones listed above.

Service Recognition Pins are awarded once you’ve officially reached an eligible public service milestone. The first eligible milestone is five years of public service.

Members who join the Employees Club later in their careers are still eligible to receive the Service Recognition Pins they’ve earned. For example, if you’ve been an Employees Club Member for five consecutive years and have completed 32 years of public service, you’ll be eligible to receive the 5-, 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year Service Recognition Pins.

Pins are awarded only when a member reaches an eligible milestone. A member with 27 years of service may request pins for the milestones already completed—5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years. Maintaining an active Club membership allows Members to continue collecting pins as they reach future milestones.

Retirees are eligible for each milestone they reached during their years of public service. For example, someone who retired after 15 years of service may request the 5-, 10-, and 15-year pins.

Celebrate at Club Headquarters

Your years of dedication deserve to be recognized in a meaningful way. Join us at an upcoming Service Recognition Ceremony at Employees Club Headquarters, where we’ll celebrate your career alongside fellow Employees Club Members. It’s an opportunity to pause, reflect on your accomplishments, connect with others who share your commitment to serving our communities, and be recognized for the difference you’ve made.

Celebrate at Your Worksite

Recognition is even more meaningful when it’s shared with the people who’ve been part of your journey. If your department is recognizing multiple Employees Club Members, we may be able to coordinate a Service Recognition Pin presentation during a safety meeting or employee gathering. Imagine hearing your name and years of service announced, and being recognized alongside the colleagues who’ve worked beside you over the years. Worksite presentations are coordinated with departments based on scheduling and availability.

Be Celebrated

Thank you for your years of dedication, your commitment to serving others, and the positive impact you’ve made throughout your career. We look forward to celebrating you.
