A Familiar Face at the Helm

President Janelle Adeloga A. Parra brings extensive City government experience and a long history of service to LAFACE. A Property Manager with Public Works/Engineering, Janelle has three decades of experience in City service.

She previously served as LAFACE President from 2022–2024 and continued her involvement as an adviser during the 2024–2026 term. Her return to the presidency brings continuity, experience and a renewed focus on professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities for City employees.

From the recognition of dedicated leaders in the morning to the oath of office in the afternoon, the day’s events symbolized the heart of LAFACE: honoring the past, embracing the future, and continuing a proud tradition of Filipino-American leadership and public service.
