In October, the Office of the City Clerk announced that Ruben Viramontes was the department’s new Executive Officer. Previously he had been Fiscal Manager in the Administrative Services Division.
“I’m incredibly honored to be appointed as your new Executive Officer,” he said in a video posted to the department’s social media. “Having spent over 19 years in this Office, I am eager to assist the City Clerk with daily operations, take the lead on specific programs and implement the goal of bringing innovation and efficiency to the City Clerk operations. I’m truly looking forward to serving you.”
